The Arlington Cultural Tourism Council (ACTC) is a volunteer advisory committee composed of arts and culture advocates and a representative of the Arlington City Council. Together, they review applications and make recommendations for how City revenue should be allocated to qualifying arts and cultural organizations within Downtown Arlington. Funding for the Downtown Arlington Cultural Arts Operating Grant comes from the City of Arlington’s hotel occupancy tax collections and is distributed annually to eligible nonprofit organizations. All grants are contingent upon annual appropriations and City Council priorities
